The employee experience brings personal responsibilities, schedule, time and collaboration together. Employees can review assigned work and waiting decisions, understand the next responsibility and open the related order or equipment. Managers can relate availability and recorded effort to the commitments the business has made.
Employees also use the internal store to request the resources they need. Requisitions follow approval and fulfilment, while shared service requests connect support work to its equipment, priority, due date, responsible people and discussion.
Employees can open the work that needs their attention.
Personal work and waiting decisions give the employee an operating starting point. The related order, instrument or request provides the detail needed to act. Schedule and presence give managers useful context when they plan the next assignment or hand responsibility to another person.
Labor connects individual effort to service economics.
Labor records can follow a calibration run, work-order line or order. Completing a run closes its associated labor span, while supported disconnected work retains its own evidence for reconciliation on return.
Recorded effort can provide operating context. A maintained labor-rate and allocation workflow has not been validated as a complete service-costing capability.
The work order
Each instrument retains its progress within the same customer order.Standard by MetraSlate: Metrology Edition demonstration data · Captured 21 October 2026. Confirm the screens and workflows in your pilot configuration.
Employees request resources through the internal store.
The employee store presents the staff listings, available stock and approved quantities in a familiar request flow. The employee submits the order, follows the decision and can inspect the reason when a request is declined.
Authorized staff approve the request and record fulfilment through the inventory workflow. The order retains who asked, what was approved and what was handed over.
Internal support work can follow the shared request process.
An equipment or support request can name the affected asset, explain the issue and carry priority and a due date. The organization routes it to the people whose decision is required, and the request retains the discussion and attributable outcome.
This uses the existing request and equipment foundation. Internal service work remains distinct from a customer's conversation with the laboratory and from product support provided by MetraSlate.
