Manual calibration

How the workflow operates.

The technician starts from the individual instrument and its service line, then opens the applicable manual-calibration event. Standard supplies the approved measurement points and technical context. The technician enters observations with their units and records the reference standards, environmental conditions, adjustment and notes required for the work.

As-found and as-left observations remain distinct. Standard evaluates the points against the configured specifications and service policy, calculates measurement uncertainty and TUR, and presents the applicable measurement analysis and decision result. The technician can inspect the basis of the evaluation while reviewing the instrument's received and returned conditions.

Completion preserves the observations and the technical snapshot used to evaluate them. Technician signing, technical review, document generation and customer release remain accountable steps. The completed event connects the measurement evidence to the instrument, work order and certificate, so a reviewer can retrieve the basis of the result later.
