Workflow rules depend on enabled modules, permissions and supported actions. Rule automation does not imply autonomous instrument execution or active payment collection.

Workflow automation
How the workflow operates.
Workflow automation connects a business event to the action the organization wants to take. A received instrument, completed calibration, waiting customer decision or financial milestone can start a defined response. The workflow carries the relevant order or instrument context so the next action concerns the correct work.
Conditions determine whether the action may proceed. The laboratory can connect required approvals, operating state and configured payment readiness to the next stage. A rule can notify the responsible person, keep work on hold or advance it when its requirements are satisfied. Technical review and release conditions continue to govern the work alongside the financial conditions.
The authoring workspace shows the event, branches and actions together. Staff can inspect and test the drawing, publish a defined version and review execution state, waiting decisions and failures. Version and result context help the organization explain which rule applied and resolve an exception instead of maintaining the workflow through disconnected reminders.
In everyday use
What your team can do.
Follow the record, the decision and the person responsible for the next step.
- Events, conditions and actions
- Define the trigger, the conditions that matter and the resulting action. Express recurring laboratory policy without making every handoff a manual reminder.
- Versioned workflows
- Validate, test and publish the intended configuration. Keep the version and execution context available when reviewing what happened.
- Financial and operational gates
- Choose when approved charges are ready and what a satisfied gate permits. Preserve technical review and release requirements alongside financial policy.
- Visible waiting and recovery
- Show why a process is waiting and who can resolve it. Keep failed or repeated delivery from becoming an unexplained second transition.
- Automation platform integration
- Bring execution observations from supported automation platforms into the controlled record. Preserve point identity, units, phase, standards and original provenance.
